An important George III figured walnut chippendale period serpentine commode, the quarter
cut veneered top with a thumb moulded edge, above three drawers, the central drawer fitted
with dressing slide, above cabinet doors with a central round panel flanked by dummy drawers,
supported by acanthus carved canted corners, resting on ogee bracket feet with a central panel
and acanthus carving, retaining its original rocco guilt brass handles, good all round colour
and patina.
