A GEORGE III NEOCLASSICAL GILTWOOD MIRROR

The long original foxed rectangular mercury plate encased in a moulded beaded and acanthus carved border, below a carved blue tablet depicting the Roman goddess Minerva, crowned with a trumpet shaped domed top with feathers and tassels, all above C scrolls of flowing acanthus and carved flowers, the base with sprigs of bellflowers and a central bow with falling drapes, retaining its original gilt, in absolutely stunning untouched condition.
