A large Irish George III figured mahogany hunt table,  the oval mahogany top with nice colour and patination, resting on eight Square legs, with a gate leg action. Seats 10-12 people

Footnote:  Table of this size are extremely rare, they are unique to Ireland and are known as hunt or wake tables. They were carried out into the gardens of large country   houses and used to serve refreshment to the hunt, hence the name hunt tables. Another use for them was at a traditional Irish wake were the coffin was laid out on the table the leaves were put up and cover with bottles of spirits for the wake.
